Environmental Innovations Study

The Town of Queen Creek (Town) is requesting Statement Of Qualifications from Firms/Teams to work with the Town in developing an Environmental Innovations Study.  This work will include:•Analysis of electrification of the Towns’ municipal fleet and the infrastructure required to serve it.• Opportunities to utilize solar technologies to offset the energy consumption of Town facilities and buildings. •Analysis of developing Resilient Energy Hubs.•Analysis of grant opportunities that would offset costs associated with these projects.As the Town continues to grow, it is working to identify its needs for energy resiliency and to bring those technologies and infrastructure forward as a part of its ongoing design and construction short and long term planning.  The Town has identified three areas which it would like to further explore and those include: electrification of its’ fleet to lessen the dependency on oil and its carbon footprint; and to identify opportunities to provide alternate electricity generation to offset its power consumption of its’ facilities; and to look at developing resilient energy hubs.
