Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Request for Information (RFI)

Description

The County of Sacramento, Department of General Services at the request of the Department of Technology (“DTech”) is issuing this Request for Information (“RFI”) to gather current market information for an Enterprise Resource Planning ( “ERP”) software system for Enterprise Human Resources and Finance (including Payroll, Utility Billing and Revenue Recovery) and related services. DTech seeks to review a comprehensive, fully integrated, public-sector ERP system and supporting services, in an effort to modernize and streamline County business processes, standardize data collection and reporting, and to support decision-making that leads to improvements in operational effectiveness.THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (“RFI”) ONLY. This RFI is being issued solely for informational and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the County of Sacramento to contract for any supply or service. Responders are advised that the County will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Response to this RFI is voluntary and is not a prerequisite for responding to a future solicitation, if any are issued. Proposals submitted in response to any subsequent RFP will be evaluated on their own merit, with no advantage or disadvantage resulting from this RFI.
