Engineering Services for Septic to Sewer Conversion Projects

Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to engage a professional engineering firm to perform design, permitting, assistance with public engagement, bid-phase services, and limited construction-phase services for County’s Septic to Sewer Conversion Projects. The County plans to convert the private septic systems to the public sewer collection system in phases. This is an Engineer of Record (EOR) project which includes Preliminary Engineering Design, 30% Design, 60% Design, 90% Design, Final Design, Permitting Assistance, Assistance with Grant Compliance, Public Engagement Assistance, Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Construction Cost, Quality Control & Quality Assurance, Bidding Services and Limited Construction Phase Services. Seminole County is planning to convert approximately 877 private septic systems to public sewer in the Wekiva Priority Focus Area in the first phase. The project will include the design of sewer pumping stations to connect the new collection systems to the County’s interlocal partners adjacent to project area namely, Sunshine Waters and City of Altamonte Springs WRFs.
