Engineering Design Services-Garrison Creek Bridge Replacement

Description

The Boone County Fiscal Court (via the Public Works Department) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional design services for the replacement of the Garrison Creek Bridge (Bridge ID: 008C00054N).The selected firm will evaluate and develop design alternatives for a new bridge structure, exploring innovative and cost-effective solutions, including but not limited to orthotropic decks, open grid decks, and box beam designs. The scope of work includes all necessary coordination for the required Nationwide Permits with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), as well as performing any hydraulic and hydrologic calculations needed to support permitting requirements promulgated by USACE and/or the Kentucky Division of Water. Additionally, a site and topographic survey will be required to support the design effort.Preliminary and phased design development, construction plans (including IFB and IFC drawings), limited construction administration, and record drawing support are to be included in the proposal.
