The City of Jackson Purchasing Coordinator, Kari Kerstetter, will receive sealed bids for the ENG25-07 Hupp-Morrell Water Transmission Main project via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofjackson The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities: 1.12 MILES OF NEW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN ALONG HUPP AVE AND MORRELL STREET IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, JACKSON COUNTY, MICHIGAN. MAJOR BID ITEMS INCLUDE: AGGREGATE BASE, 8 INCH – 6553 SYD, HMA, 13A – 1939 TON, DRIVEWAY, NONREINF CONC, 6 INCH – 705 SYD, CURB AND GUTTER, CONC, DET F4 – 3659 FT, SIDEWALK, CONC – 3163 SFT, WATER MAIN, 8 INCH – 62 FT, WATER MAIN, 12 INCH – 776 FT, WATER MAIN, 16 INCH – 5981 FT, GATE VALVE AND WELL, 16 INCH, MODIFIED – 6 EA. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Contractor’s can direct their questions to Kari Kerstetter via Opengov.com in the project Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening.  Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A) and Watermain (I).
