The intent of this proposal is for the City to acquire emergency debris removal services due to catastrophic circumstances and eliminate immediate threats to life, public health, safety and to prevent damages to public and private property, which is considered essential to ensure physical and economic recovery of the City. The City is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced individuals, firms, corporations, partnerships, or entities who can provide emergency debris removal services including, but not limited to, clearance, demolition, removal, reduction, and disposal of disaster debris. Respondents must provide disaster recovery technical program management assistance to the City officials. Work under this proposal will be on an “as needed” basis or when Notice to Proceed is given to the contractor(s). The Respondent must have an excellent understanding of the documentation involved for the reimbursement from FEMA, FHWA, or other federal or state agencies to make the process of cost recovery efficient and accurate. The processes and documentation required will be in strict compliance with FEMA, FHWA, and any other federal or state agencies regulations regarding eligibility.
