Sealed bids for furnishing the following will be received at the Office of Central Purchasing, Andover Town Offices, 36 Bartlet St., Andover, Massachusetts 01810 until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.  The time received will be stamped on each bid and for a consistency of time, the clock in the Purchasing Office will be the determining time. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. MASS DOT Pre-Qualification of contractors with the class of work as HIGHWAY-CONSTRUCTION, for the project with an estimated value of $1,068,875.00, will be required.
