Elevator Telephone Upgrade Service (POTS IN A BOX)

Description

Columbus City Schools is soliciting bids for upgrading plain old telephone service (POTS) to a newer technology compliant with existing elevator/chair lift technology. Contract for CCS Fiscal Years 27-29 (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2029) Questions to be asked by 5/11/2026 end of day, answers complete by end of day 5/12/2026 Expected timeline: ~July 1st, 2026 purchase order. Completion of project by 8/15/2026 (less than 45 days). Late completion may result in actual damages paid by CCS as the existing telephone service is expiring and additinal fees may be charged to CCS to keep phone lines in operation. If no phone service is provided after 8/15 then a $100/day liquidated damage will be assessed. No upgrade to the elevators or lifts themselves is desired, just a technology to send a dial-tone to the elevator. The phone number does not matter. A central call-in station aleady exists to take the call. The call-in station must have a way of knowing in which elevator/lift the call button was pu
