Elevator Inspections, Repairs and Maintenance

Description

The Town of Dracut invites written quotes from contractors for On-Call Elevator Inspections, Maintenance and repairs for four locations within the Town of Dracut. The Project consists of the monthly maintenance of all elevators in the four locations, statutorily required inspections and repairs on an as needed basis. A one-year contract shall be awarded pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. 149, to the responsive and responsible quote offering the lowest total estimated price. The Town of Dracut reserves its sole option to renew the contract for two additional one-year contract periods. These specifications are in anticipation of funding. All contracts are voided if funds are not available. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c. 149 and to minimum wage rates as required M.G.L. c.149 §§526 to 27H. Contractors must use the enclosed form for quotation. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive. Quote package will be available electronically at https://www.dracutma.gov/Bids.aspx, as of October 21, 2026. Questions must be submitted in writing to by 11 A.M. on October 28, 2026. Quotes must be received before November 4, 2026, 11AM. The awarded vendor must supply the Town of Dracut with a 50% payment bond if the estimated contract value is above $25,000. Quotes can hand delivered, mailed to Town of Dracut, ATTN: Purchasing Agent, 62 Arlington Street, Dracut, Ma 01826 or emailed to and received no later than the date and time specified above. The Project site will be available for inspection upon request. Late quotes will not be accepted. The Town of Dracut reserves the right to cancel the quote request, reject any or all quotes and waive informalities.
