Electronic Health Records for Wellness Program

The City of Chesapeake is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to implement an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for its Employee Clinical Wellness Program (ECWP), a distinct program that works in coordination with, but separately from, the City's Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Launched six months ago, the ECWP supports the mental health and wellness of over 4,000 City employees. It currently includes two clinicians, with plans to add 2–3 more and administrative staff over the coming years.The EHR system should support clinical documentation, secure communication, scheduling, and reporting tailored to EAP services. The ECWP provides routine and crisis counseling, critical incident debriefings, wellness assessments for public safety, and overall clinical support.
