The City of Palm Desert (“City”) invites Statements of Qualifications from highly experienced economic development professionals or firms to provide strategic advisory, economic development capacity-building, business attraction, developer and real estate advisory, transaction support, and project delivery services.The City seeks a senior-level practitioner or team with 15+ years of experience, that can function as an extension of the City's existing Economic Development team—augmenting current services and capacity while simultaneously strengthening long-term internal capability.The selected consultant will provide both strategic advice and hands-on implementation support. The consultant will not replace the City's Economic Development function or exercise governmental decision-making authority.Augment. Accelerate. Develop.
