RFP - Project Background and PurposeThe City of Lake Forest ("City") seeks proposals ("Proposals") from experienced and qualified firms ("Respondents") to provide for economic consulting services and sales and use tax auditing services. The City is seeking economic consulting services and sales and use tax auditing services to maintain and enhance the City's revenue base. The main objectives include ensuring complete and accurate remittance of sales and use taxes, to receive regular and timely updates of trends and legislation affecting the sales and use tax revenues of the City, to receive economic consulting services in projecting future revenues through written and verbal analyses and reports and a partner that is available to provide consulting services on miscellaneous sales and use tax revenue related questions.
