EB-5787 Dye Creek Greenway

Description

Pursuant to the General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143‐129, sealed proposals are invited and will be received by the Town of Mooresville for the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment and construction of the Dye Creek Greenway, consisting of one contract having the following principal items:Approximately 3240 LF of proposed greenway extension along new alignment from Bellingham Park to Boxtail Way, 1680 LF of proposed sidewalk and roadway improvements along SR 1147 (Rocky River Rd) from Johnson Manor Street to Dye Creek, and 7030 LF of proposed greenway from Dye Creek on new alignment to parking lot and access to SR 1142 (Johnson Dairy Farm). The project will include grading, drainage, paving, sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement markings, boardwalks and pedestrian bridges for the Bellingham park greenway extension.All work shall be performed in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures dated January 2018 with all amendments and supplements and/or Town of Mooresville Standards.Sealed bids should be submitted to the attention of Mr. Jonathan Young, PE, Town of Mooresville – Engineering Services Director, 2523 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, North Carolina 28117 and marked “QUOTATION FOR – EB-5787 GRADING, DRAINAGE, PAVING, SIDEWALK, CURB AND GUTTER, PAVEMENT MARKINGS, BOARDWALKS AND STRUCTURES FOR BELLINGHAM PARK GREENWAY EXTENSION.” TO BE OPENED AT 2:00 PM ON THURSDAY, 09/28/2023.”Sealed bids will be received at the Town of Mooresville, Public Operations Building, 2523 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, North Carolina 28117 until 2:00 P.M.
