East West Connector Phase I

Description

Pursuant to the General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143‐129, sealed proposals are invited and will be received by the Town of Mooresville for the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment and construction of the East-West Connector Road, consisting of one contract having the following principal items:Approximately 5350 LF of new alignment mainline roadway, 2550 LF of new alignment Y line construction, pavement reconstruction of a portion of Transco Road, widening of Langtree Road and NC-115, including the addition of curb and gutter, sidewalks and multi‐use paths, and 2 culverts. The project will include paving, widening, grading, signals, drainage, culverts, resurfacing, traffic control, pavement markings, and erosion control.All work shall be performed in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures dated January 2018 with all amendments and supplements and/or Town of Mooresville Standards.Sealed bids should be submitted to the attention of Mr. Jonathan Young, PE, Town of Mooresville – Engineering Services Director, 2523 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, North Carolina 28117 and marked “QUOTATION FOR – U-6239 EAST-WEST CONNECTOR ROAD IREDELL COUNTY TO BE OPENED AT 10:00 A.M. ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2023”.Sealed bids will be received at the Town of Mooresville, 2523 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, North Carolina 28117 until 10:00 A.M. ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2023, at which time the BIDS will be publicly opened and read aloud.Contract documents, including Drawings and Technical specifications, are available for viewing in the Town of Mooresville Public Operations Building at 2523 Charlotte Highway.
