Eagle Road, Lake Hazel to Amity - Intersection and Roadway Re-Bid

Description

In accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of widening and reconstructing the Lake Hazel Road and Eagle Road Intersection with concrete pavement, replacing the traffic signal, widening and reconstructing all legs of the intersection with asphalt pavement, adding multi-use pathways throughout, and a new stormwater system to a basin. There is significant roadway elevation change requiring extensive earthwork and retaining walls.  Work also includes widening and reconstructing Eagle Road to five lanes using asphalt pavement with curb, gutter, and multi-use pathways on both sides between Lake Hazel Road and Amity Road. Includes a multi-lane roundabout with concrete pavement at Taconic Drive and a new stormwater system to a basin.Special Note: Irrigation work on the Grimmett Lateral is expected to start in early 2025 and may not start without prior approval by ACHD. This restriction does not apply to the Taconic Drive Crossing. See Supplemental General Notes in the "Attachment" Section
