The City of Norfolk (the “City”) Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide services on an as-required basis. The City intends to enter into an annual, renewable agreement with the firm selected to provide these services. The City will provide a scope of services for each specific request for engineering services required under the Agreement. A request for services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:· Preliminary engineering and feasibility analysis· Testing and inspection· Hydrographic surveying· Surveying of storm water outfalls· Design of storm water outfalls· Design of aids to navigation· Dredging engineering· Design of dredged material placement and fill areas· Environmental permitting· Contract document preparation· Construction administration services· Post-dredging surveys· Assistance with various regulatory agencies
