Downtown Lawrenceville Streetscape Project

Description

The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from Contractors for the Downtown Lawrenceville Streetscape. Sealed bids will be received by the Lawrenceville Finance Office,70 S. Clayton Street, Main Level, Room M46A, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after 2:00 P.M. will not be accepted. Bid envelope should be marked on the outside with Bid Number, name of Bidder, date and time of opening. The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: -Night Work: Contractor shall perform all construction activities between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Include all costs associated with night work, traffic control, lighting, labor, and equipment. -Electrical pedestrian lighting, including concrete lighting pole foundations (per manufacturer's specifications), decorative street/parking lighting, wiring, conduits, pull boxes, electrical service components, and all associated electrical infrastructure in accordance with the plans. -Demolition and removal of existing pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway apron, landscape features, striping (gridding), signage, utilities, and other improvements as required by the plans. -Mobilization: project management, traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, and all associated temporary construction measures. -(18-24 Inch)varies Curb & Gutter: Removal and replacement or installation of concrete curb and gutter, including standard and mountable curb sections (steel), as required by the plans. -4-Inch-thick Sidewalk: Removal and replacement or installation of concrete curb and gutter, including standard and mountable curb sections, as required by the plans. Contractor to follow Gwinnett County/GDOT Standards. -See attachments
