Request for Proposal (RFP) Exterior Window Cleaning Services Issued By: Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) RFP Number: 0601-2027 Issue Date: July 27, 2026 Proposal Due Date: August 6, 2026 1. Introduction Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit proposals to provide annual exterior window cleaning services for EICC facilities. The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a three-year contract with a qualified contractor to perform exterior-only window cleaning during the summer months. The selected contractor will provide professional cleaning services that maintain the appearance of EICC's campuses while minimizing disruption to college operations. 2. Scope of Services The contractor shall provide annual exterior window cleaning services for designated EICC facilities once each summer for a period of three (3) years. Services shall include: • Washing and scrubbing all exterior glass windows and accessible glass surfaces. • • • • • • Removing dirt, dust, pollen, cobwebs, insect debris, bird droppings, and other surface contaminants using standard window cleaning methods. Cleaning exterior window frames, sills, and ledges where accessible as part of the cleaning process. Leaving all glass clean, streak-free, and free of visible residue. Providing all labor, equipment, lifts, ladders, water, and supplies necessary to complete the work safely and efficiently. Chemical restoration or chemical glass treatments. Water-repellent coatings or protective treatments. Excluded Services The following services are not included under this RFP: • • • • Interior window cleaning. Glass polishing or scratch removal. Hard water stain restoration requires specialized chemical products. Caulking, glazing, or window repairs. The College is seeking standard scrub-and-clean exterior window washing only. 3.
