Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant Services

Description

The County of Sacramento, Department of Child, Family and Adult Services, Child Protective Services (DCFAS-CPS) is seeking a qualified applicant to develop and facilitate an organizational assessment using the lens of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Areas of assessment would include, but not be limited to, the department's internal culture, hiring practices, training, policies and practice, etcetera. In addition to the assessment, the qualified applicant would engage the community to garner public feedback and make recommendations for system and/or practice improvements that could mitigate and/or eliminate long-standing systemic inequities and racial disparities. The organizational assessment and recommendations will assist DCFAS-CPS’s overarching goals of supporting an organizational culture that values racial equity and cultural differences, provides equitable and culturally responsive services, and reduces racial disparities.
