This specification is printed double-sided on recycled paper, 20% post consumer waste. 8th and Penn Street Courtyard City of Reading, PA 2022 2 NOTICE AND INSTRUCTIONS CITY OF READING, PENNSYLVANIA NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The City of Reading will receive sealed proposals via the PennBid program at www.pennbidprocureware.com until 3:00pm, prevailing time on 11/22/2022 for the 8th and Penn Street Courtyard Project for the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, as per specifications. The work shall consist of the removal of brick paving and replacement with stamped concrete. The removal and replacement of existing ramp with a new ramp. The removal and replacement of trees including grates and guards. Coating concrete walls and steps with sealant and primer as directed. The Contract documents and Proposal Form for the above work can be obtained via PennBid at www.pennbidprocureware.com Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest.
