Design Criteria Professional Services for SW California Corridor Improvements Project: Phase 1

Pursuant to the Port St. Lucie City Code of Ordinance 35.07, this electronic Request for Qualifications (RFQu) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified proposer who will provide Project Title to the City of Port St. Lucie (hereinafter, “City”) as further described in this RFQu.The purpose of this procurement is to secure an engineering consultant to develop a Design Criteria Package that will define technical requirements, reduce design risk, and enable the City to solicit a competitive and well informed Design-Build team.The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking qualifications and proposals from a licensed engineering firm to prepare a design criteria package, including conceptual roadway design plans for the California Corridor Widening Project, Phase 1. This plan set shall utilize sub-surface utility engineering (SUE), preliminary permitting, survey, and geotechnical information and will serve as the basis of a Design Criteria Package (DCP). The DCP shall include but may not be limited to; roadway widening, intersection improvements, drainage improvements, swale modifications, sidewalk, landscaping, utility adjustments, signage and striping.
