“REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)” Design-Build Services for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Facility Upgrades RFP 063026 Issued by: City of Socorro 111 School of Mines Road Socorro, New Mexico 87801 Attention: Leopoldo (Polo) Pineda Chief Procurement Officer INVITATION TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL Following the completion of the City's Request for Qualifications (RFQ No. 010725) for the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Facility Upgrade Project, the City of Socorro determined that only one qualified respondent submitted a responsive proposal (Clean Energy). Pursuant to the New Mexico Procurement Code and the City's procurement procedures, the City hereby invites the qualified respondent to submit a complete technical and cost proposal for consideration. The City reserves the right to negotiate the scope of services, schedule, pricing, contract terms, and all other aspects of the proposed project prior to recommending award. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Socorro owns and operates a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling facility located at: 2998 NM Highway 1 Socorro, New Mexico 87801 The City seeks a qualified Design-Build Contractor to provide complete engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up services necessary to modernize and upgrade the existing facility. The successful proposer shall provide a complete turnkey project. SCOPE OF SERVICES The proposal shall include all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, permitting, supervision, testing, and commissioning necessary to complete the project. The anticipated improvements include, but are not limited to: • • • • • • • • • New CNG compressor Inlet kit Stand-alone power panels Priority panel Filter racks Fast Fill Dispenser Time Fill Post Communication Panel Electrical Switchgear 1 • • • • • • • All associated civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and control work Site restoration Testing and commissioning Operator training Complete documentation As-built drawings Warranty services PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS The proposal shall include the following: 1.
