Design Build for the Volusia County's Supervisor of Elections ADA and Energy Conservation Renovations

Description

 The purpose of this solicitation is to select the most highly qualified firm to provide the requested services. It is anticipated that one (1) firm will be awarded a basic contract to provide all necessary Design and Construction Services, for a period of One (1) year or until project completion, whichever occurs later, exercisable at the option of the County. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual and written agreement and, when applicable, approval of County CouncilThe purpose of this overview is to present a general design criterion to establish the level of quality of material and construction appropriate. This narrative, along with the supporting documents form the Design Criteria Package and should provide a general understanding and nature of the project. It is not the intent of the Design Criteria Package to prescribe construction means and methods or to insist upon any proprietary products, but to serve as a basis of the quality and standardization needs of the project. It is not the intention of the Design Criteria Package to restrict from proposing alternative approaches to the Project that will meet the design and performance requirements outlined in this Design Criteria Package. The County, assisted by the Design Build Contractor shall approve changes to the aesthetic design prior to the submittal of the final proposal to ensure conformance with the Design Criteria Package
