Design and Construction of Raceway Basin Pump Station and Buena Creek Pump Station Improvements and FOG Abatements

Description

The City of Vista (City) and Buena Sanitation District (BSD), are soliciting proposals from qualified design-builder entities (DB) to design and construct four related projects: Raceway Basin Pump Station FOG Abatement (CIP 8324), the Buena Creek Pump Station FOG Abatement, the Raceway Basin Pump Station Overflow Basin Improvements (CIP 8321), and Buena Creek Pump Station Mechanical Valve Modification (CIP 8345) projects. The selected DB will provide the City and District with engineering design, construction, environmental compliance, and construction management services for the project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) includes a description of the project, proposal requirements, criteria for selection, and scope of services to be provided by prospective DBs.The selected DB must provide a design-build team (DBT) for the Project comprised of professional engineers, sub-consultants and sub-contractors.  All DBT members must be licensed/registered in the State of California under their respective professions.Interested DB shall review and utilize existing data, previous relevant work, and additional resources during the proposal phase, including but not limited to studies and field investigations, to determine the necessary level of effort required for the Project, and to complete, sign and stamp the Project design as the engineer of record.
