Pierce County (hereafter known as 'the County') Department of Emergency Management (DEM) is accepting proposals from qualified firms to provide a robust, interactive, reliable, high-speed emergency notification system to be used for local and regional emergency response and communications. The system will be an integral part of the emergency response and management in Pierce County jurisdictions. It must be capable of efficiently sending notifications to thousands of first responders and/or residents prior to, during and after a crisis or emergency.
