"Deck the Hall" Holiday Lighting and Decor

Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain sealed proposals for establishing a contract to provide the professional installation of pre‑selected winter holiday lighting and décor for the City of Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism. The installation will take place at City Hall municipal grounds and surrounding areas totaling approximately 1,601,261 square feet.In addition to seasonal décor, the City has identified a significant need for permanent lighting infrastructure to support year‑round illumination, safety, and visual presentation of the municipal grounds. As part of this contract, the contractor will be responsible for the installation, integration, and proper functioning of designated permanent lighting systems, which will remain in place beyond the holiday season and serve long‑term operational objectives for the City.The contractor will be responsible for installing all specified items, which may include rentals, permanent fixtures, permanent lighting components, and décor owned or supplied by the City. The contractor must furnish all necessary materials, personnel, and equipment required to fully execute both the seasonal lighting plan and the installation of permanent lighting elements intended for ongoing use.
