27 January 2026 Bethel School District Danebo Elementary School – Addition and Improvements Addendum 02 - Narrative Summary GENERAL ITEMS 1. See attached Limited Hazardous Building Materials Survey provided by Bethel School District. 2. See attached existing condition Fire Alarm Drawing provided by Bethel School District. QUESTIONS 1. On the job walk it was mentioned that existing switchboard in Rm 083 is being replaced by another contractor separate from this project. Can you please confirm that is indeed, correct? Response: Confirmed. The replacement of the switchboard in RM 083 will be performed under a separate project. 2. Will the replacement of the existing switchboard take place after utility power to the new building has been established? Response: No, the replacement of the switchboard will happen as part of a project that will precede the work of this project and thus the utility power connection to the new building. 3. Sheet E-612 shows (3) 4” conduits leaving switchboard 2N-SWB-1A in the new building and feeding the existing switchboard 2N-SWB-1B. Who is responsible for bringing these conduits into 2N-SWB-1B since this switchboard is being procured and installed by a different contractor separate from this project? Response: Feeders serving the existing switchboard 2N-SWB-1B from the new switchboard 2N-SWB-1A will be the responsibility of the electrical contractor on this project. Feeder conduits will stub up at the exterior of the building and penetrate into the electrical room above the height of the existing switchboard. This is addressed on drawings in this addendum. 4. If the contractor for this project is responsible for the installation of these conduits in its entirety, please provide pictures of the existing electrical room and exterior wall to show what saw cutting and/or excavation will be needed to get the new (3) 4” conduits into the existing switchboard. Response: Conduits will be routed along exterior wall, as shown in Addendum 2. 5. Sheet E-131 shows multiple devices on a single wall in each classroom. Are these the same devices as shown on AV-500 for rough-in requirements? If not, please identify what each device is and it’s rough-in requirement. See picture below.
