Cultural Resources and Archaeological Services

Description

The City of Tucson is seeking submittals from Consultants to perform cultural resource assessment, testing, data recovery, and historic preservation services. Consultants must be experienced in all pertinent disciplines, research facilities, equipment, specialist studies and labor to provide the cultural resource services necessary under the Contract. When historic buildings and structures are involved, the professional services of an architect with special qualifications in historic preservation shall be employed. Most work under this contract will be small projects and, historically, spend under the existing contract for these services has ranged between $300,000.00 and $3,000,000.00 per year. Work under this contract will be performed on an as-needed, if-needed basis and no minimum volume of services should be assumed or is guaranteed. Work will be distributed among the selected Consultants based on their availability and ability to meet the City’s time lines and the City’s cultural resource assessment workload. It is anticipated that the City will select multiple Consultants that can perform some or all of cultural resource services listed.
