Portland Public Schools Legal Notice Crossing Guard Services Request for Proposal #26098 Portland Public Schools (“PPS”) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional crossing guard services at school locations throughout Portland, Maine. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify a vendor with the demonstrated capacity, experience, and commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of students traveling to and from school each day. The selected vendor will be responsible for the full management and operation of crossing guard services at 22 to 25 locations throughout Portland. Proposals should be submitted as an email attachment to bids@portlandschools.org with the name of the Bidder, contract name and #26098 in the subject line by July 6th, 2026 at 3:00p.m after which they will be opened and read. Or sealed proposals may be submitted by mail or in person to Nicole Levay, Purchasing Manager, 353 Cumberland Ave, Portland, ME 04101.
