Zone 7 Water Agency (hereinafter referred to as "Agency") is seeking Proposals from qualified Cross-Connection Specialists to conduct a comprehensive hazardous assessment as part of the Agency’s Cross-Connection Control Program. This assessment will aid in identifying potential cross-connection hazards that could compromise water quality and compliance with state regulations. The Agency currently has approximately twenty air gaps and ninety-seven backflow prevention assemblies in the water system, some of these assemblies are inactive or disconnected.The selected Contractor will provide expertise and recommendations to enhance the Agency’s Cross-Connection Control Program and provide a final hazard assessment report for submission to the State Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB). The goal is to have the final hazard assessment report completed by no later than April 15, 2025.The selected Contractor shall have at least five years of cross-connection control experience in California and have performed hazardous assessments that meet the requirement of California’s Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook (CCCPH). Additionally, the Contractor must hold a valid Cross-Connection Control Specialist Certification from a certifying organization recognized by SWRCB such as the American Water Works Association California-Nevada Section (CA/NV AWWA).
