Project Name: Addendum #: Issued Date: Sheet # or Spec Section Crossville Playground 2 10/20/2026 Information or Clarification Needed Topsoil stripping depth – Spec 31 00 00, 1.10 and C4-00 Note 13 call for topsoil to be stripped and stockpiled, but no stripping depth is given. Please confirm the depth to carry. (We are carrying the 4" minimum respread per 31 00 00, 3.11.B.) Limits of topsoil and seeding – Please confirm that topsoil respread and seed/mulch extend to the full limits of disturbance (LOD) shown on C3-10, including the area between the grading limits and the fence on the southwest side. Seed vs. sod – C3-50 Permanent Stabilization Note 3 refers to landscape plans for areas to receive sod, but no landscape plans are in the bid set. Please confirm that all disturbed lawn areas receive seed and mulch only (no sod). Fence type – The C3-10 legend reads "Tree Protection Fence / High Visibility Fence," while Detail 7/C3-50 shows 4' chain link on 2" x 6' steel posts with signs every 50' and a 5" mulch layer. Please confirm which fence type is required, and whether orange high-visibility fence is acceptable. Fence alignment – Detail 7/C3-50 says "See Tree Preservation Plan for fence alignment," but no tree preservation plan is in the bid set. Please confirm that the TP alignment shown on C3-10 governs. Scope – Are the 7 Anova Streetside 6' contour benches (Detail 10) and 3 Anova Streetside 40-gal bonnet-top receptacles (Detail 9) furnished and installed by the site contractor, or by others (playground vendor / Owner)? Approved equals – The Anova items are quote-only. Would an equal such as a 36-gal slatted steel receptacle with rain bonnet lid (green, surface mount) be acceptable in lieu of the 40-gal Streetside unit? Please also confirm that the Streetside L1397BT bonnet-top receptacle is still the intended model. Date Answered Answer Are Plans & Specs Changed KH 10/20/2026 Topsoil shall be stripped to a depth required to compact the subgrade to the standards shown in the plans for all hardscape areas. For non-hardscape areas, the topsoil should be stripped to a minimum depth of 4" N KH 10/20/2026 Topsoil and seeding shall be installed for all non-hardscaped disturbed areas.
