CAROLINE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS COUNTY PAVING PROJECT - SUNSET AVENUE RFP# CCDPW2027-04 The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Public Works is accepting proposals for the Paving of Sunset Avenue in Greensboro, Caroline County, Maryland. Specifications and standards are contained elsewhere in this proposal. Work is generally described as follows: The scope of this contract includes, but is not limited to: Sunset Avenue is an existing tar and chip county road, located in Greensboro, Maryland, approximately 1.59 miles (+/-) in length (County part) Area of work: Sunset Ave from town line to River Rd. Scope includes 1.5” wedging, leveling, 2” overlay, and shoulder backup. MOT/2 VMS Boards/Flaggers. Printed copies of the RFP, drawings, and bid forms may be obtained from the Caroline County Department of Finance at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629. Refer to RFP# CCDPW2027-04. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 9/23/2026 at 9:00 am at the County Courthouse located at 109 Market Street , MD 21629. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
