CITY OF SOCORRO SECTION 00-200 INVITATION FOR BID CONVENTION CENTER BID NO. 082919 According to Drawings and Specifications prepared by NCA - Architects and described in general as: This project includes both exterior stucco, stone tile, two new entrances and an exterior patio. Interior work includes selected demolition, new metal stud walls, new finishes and two new moveable partitions. All new windows and doors are part of this project. Additionally, new roof top mechanical units and ductwork will be provided. Electrical improvements include new lights, outlets and miscellaneous improvements. New men’s and women’s restrooms will also be constructed. Sealed bids will be accepted until bid opening at 2:00 p.m., Thursday August 29, 2019 in the City Hall Council Chambers 111 School of Mines Rd., Socorro, New Mexico 87801. At that time bids will be opened publicly and recorded. The City of Socorro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical irregularities, and to award the bid to the bidder whose bid it deems to be in the best interest of the City of Socorro. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Any bid received after the above date and or time will be returned unopened. All bids must be clearly marked “IFB082919” in the lower left corner of the envelope. The bidder shall assume full responsibility for the timely delivery of bid.
