This Addendum provides MHA's official responses to timely bidder questions. It is incorporated into the Contract Documents. Bidders must acknowledge this Addendum on the Bid Form. If this Addendum conflicts with the original IFB or an earlier document, this Addendum controls. Official Questions and Responses 1. Warranty Specifications Question: Are standard manufacturer warranties acceptable, or are enhanced warranty tiers required? Response: Enhanced manufacturer warranty tiers, such as GAF System Plus, Silver Pledge, or Golden Pledge, are not required. The Base Bid must include all applicable manufacturer and roof-system warranties for the proposed products, together with the minimum two-year Contractor workmanship warranty required by Section 7.6. The bidder must identify the proposed warranties and disclose their duration, coverage, registration requirements, and any installer-eligibility or maintenance conditions. 2. Gutter and Fascia Replacement Question: Is replacement limited to the quantities in the scope exhibits, or is full replacement required on every building elevation? Response: The Base Bid shall include gutter, downspout, fascia, and related replacements only at the locations and in the quantities identified in the applicable revised scope exhibits. Full replacement on every elevation is not required unless specifically shown in the Contract Documents. Bidders remain responsible for field verification and for reporting any apparent material discrepancy before bid opening. 3. Gutter Screen Requirements Question: Is a specific gutter-screen grade or manufacturer required? Response: No proprietary manufacturer or specific product is required. Quote a new product comparable in function and quality to the existing installation, suitable for its intended use, and compatible with the applicable gutter and roof system.
