Continuing Professional Engineering Services: Water Resources Program

Description

The primary goal of this contract is to assist the City in developing, managing, and implementing long-term projects for water supply and water resources development. These projects will generally include: potable (drinking) water distribution and treatment facilities and associated infrastructure; stormwater detention/retention ponds; flood control structures; facilities for stormwater supplemental treatment/pollutant removal; groundwater recharge facilities; wastewater collection and treatment facilities and associated infrastructure; and effluent disposal systems, such as, reclaimed water treatment, storage, and distribution systems; supplemental effluent treatment facilities; restricted public access slow-rate land application systems; man-made wetlands; lake augmentation systems; rapid infiltration basins (RIBs); injection wells; aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) wells; and dedicated supplemental wells for reclaimed water systems. The projects may also include other reuse augmentation and mitigation systems utilizing stormwater, groundwater, surface water, potable (drinking) water, or wastewater, as well as, hydraulic modeling, permitting, compliance monitoring, and overall management of the Water Resources Program.This contract will include the following major elements:A.
