Continuing Engineering Services for Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Projects

General work description:  Hernando County is seeking statements of qualifications from Florida registered firms qualified to provide Engineering Services necessary to deliver new and renovated water and wastewater infrastructure. Professional consultant services may be required for design, permitting, studies and evaluations, and design criteria packages of water and wastewater processes, pipeline and pumping, and all necessary appurtenant assets. Projects may be grant funded.Professional consulting services may be required for civil, environmental, structural, mechanical, geotechnical, HVAC, electrical, landscaping including but not limited to the following:• Design and permitting of sewage and water treatment plants and related structures• Design and permitting of modifications to water and sewage treatment plants• Construction inspection services• Design and permitting of sewage pumping stations and forcemains• Design and permitting of water storage and pumping systems• Design and permitting of potable water mains• Design and permitting of reclaimed water land application systems• Design and permitting of reclaimed water storage and pumping stations• Design and permitting of utilities related assets such as buildings, pavement, sidewalks, lighting, and other site work• Development of design criteria packages for Design-Build projects• Environmental monitoring plans• Scientific investigations, analyses, and technical studies• Develop or upgrade hydraulic models for water or reclaimed water distribution systems• Develop or upgrade hydraulic models for manifolded forcemain systems• Develop documents necessary to publish bids for construction of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects• Develop engineering plans• Develop as-built drawing
