Construction Services for DPW Ft. Totten Solid Waste Transfer Station Outer Lot Resurfacing

Description

The Department is seeking a Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for Project, including drainage improvement and diverting the stormwater to the nearest points to divert water through the filters and catch basin, and other miscellaneous modifications, in accordance with the DGS Specifications and Drawings, dated December 10, 2018, titled “DPW Ft. Totten Outer Lot Resurfacing – Existing Condition” and Drawings dated September 27, 2023 titled “Resurfacing Plan”.The scope of this Project is limited to construction and relevant improvement work, including but not limited to: (i) demolition of existing asphalt surface; and (ii) installing new asphalt coat following the design as outlined in the attached drawings. New resurfacing must meet all codes of practices, making necessary slopes to drain all stormwater to the nearest outlets/manholes, and the drainage system so that after the storm no impoundment occurs at the area of the scope. The Contractor will also provide necessary parking lot striping and zebra crossing as defined in the attached drawings. All demolition debris must be taken out of the site by the Contractor using his own resources.
