Construction of Homestead Water Supply Well No. 7

Description

The City of Homestead is soliciting sealed Bids from qualified, experienced, and licensed State of Florida contractors to furnish all labor, permits, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, services, and incidentals necessary for the construction and installation of a new potable water supply well (Homestead Well #7). The work shall be performed in conformance with the Contract Documents at the City's Harris Field Water Treatment Facility, 1034 N. Homestead Blvd., Homestead, FL.This project is funded through a grant from the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). The Contractor shall comply with all applicable FDEP requirements pursuant to FDEP Agreement No. LPA0017, and any amendments thereto, between FDEP and the City of Homestead. Refer to the attachment section for the applicable terms and conditions of the Agreement and its Amendments.All procurement and contracting activities under this solicitation shall comply with applicable State of Florida and local laws, ordinances, regulations, and requirements, as applicable to the project. Certain portions of the procurement or contracting activities may also be subject to applicable federal requirements where expressly required by applicable law, regulation, or funding requirements. Such federal requirements shall apply only to the extent applicable to the specific activity or portion of the project and shall not be construed to impose federal requirements that are not otherwise applicable to this State-funded grant.The City of Homestead is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages participation by minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, disadvantaged businesses, small businesses, and other qualified firms, as applicable.
