Construction Manager @ Risk (CMAR) Northeast Infrastructure Improvements Project (AR100)

Description

The Town of Queen Creek is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms to enter into a preconstruction services contract and construction services contract with a qualified construction manager at risk to construct the Northeast Infrastructure Project. The project will consist of the following roadway, water and sewer improvements. Germann Road – Meridian Rd to Kenworthy Rd, Ironwood Road – Germann Rd to Pecos Rd, Pecos Rd – Ironwood Rd to Kenworthy Rd, Pecos Rd – Meridian Rd to Ironwood Rd, and Kenworthy Rd - Germann Rd to Pecos Road. The milestone for the completion of the construction of all anticipated improvements is April 2024. There are two interim milestone dates, A) Completion of the water system within Meridian Road and Ironwood Road by June 15, 2023, and B) Completion of the sewer system within the Pecos Road alignment from Meridian to Ironwood and the system within Ironwood Road by June 15, 2023.The CMAR contractor will be required to coordinate with other utility companies including Mesa gas for the installation of facilities within the roadway segments. There is a potential that the CMAR will be required to contract for and manage the installation of the gas facilities within these projects.The budget for the design and construction of these improvements is estimated at approximately $50,000,000. Any contract that may arise from this solicitation will be a guaranteed maximum price (“GMP”) contract. The Town anticipates the delivery of this work through multiple GMP contracts including an early long lead item contract to ensure procurement of materials in time for construction
