Seminole County is seeking proposals from qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firms to provide preconstruction and construction management services for a new Medical Examiner's Office facility.The selected CMAR, who must be a licensed building or general contractor, will work closely with County staff and the design consultant throughout all phases of the project. Responsibilities during preconstruction will include but not limited to detailed constructability reviews, cost estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and risk mitigation. During construction, the CMAR will manage all on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, oversee quality control, and ensure the project is completed on schedule and within the established Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The facility is scheduled to be fully operational by March 30, 2029.Proposals must clearly demonstrate the qualifications and relevant experience of both the firm and the proposed construction management team, with an emphasis on successful delivery of comparable specialized facilities.
