Construction Management Services for the Downtown Project

Description

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking proposals from qualified construction management firms to provide construction management services for the City’s Downtown Thousand Oaks Project, from pre-construction and design-phase support through bidding and award assistance, construction management, and project closeout. The selected Consultant will support the City throughout project Phases by providing constructability review, cost and schedule input, and construction-feasibility analysis. Services will also include recommendations for sequencing, staging, and utility coordination; assistance with bidding and award; construction management; project documentation; schedule monitoring; change order management; issue resolution; punch list support; and project closeout assistance. The Consultant will coordinate, as directed by the City, with the developer, design consultant, contractor, utility agencies, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. At the City’s sole discretion, the agreement may be amended to include construction management services for future Downtown Project phases, subject to City approval, available funding, successful Consultant performance, and compliance with applicable procurement and contracting requirements. The selected firm shall have demonstrated experience with large developer-funded or developer-coordinated infrastructure projects, municipal public works projects, public right-of-way improvements, utility coordination, and stakeholder coordination.
