Construction Management Services for Cobb County Water System

Description

The Cobb County Water System (CCWS) proposes to retain a firm to provide Construction Management Services (CMS) related to its Capital Improvement Program. The selected Construction Management Services firm will provide professional, technical, administrative, and other skilled personnel, and/or engage the appropriate services as needed to perform requested activities associated with water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities construction in an economical manner consistent with the best interests of the County. The goal of this contract is to obtain quality construction management services at a fixed hourly rate and low overall cost through a firm assisting with Capital Improvement Projects as designated by the manager of the Engineering & Records Division of the CCWS. The selected firm shall also provide Utility Locate Services on behalf of the CCWS in response to requests from the Georgia Utility Protection Center. The firm submitting a proposal may be a single firm or a team composed of several firms; however, a team must be in a prime contractor/subcontractor relationship, with the prime contractor being the party to the agreement with the County.
