Construction Management Services (Cms)

Description

The City of Zephyrhills is seeking a Construction Management Service contractor to work with our Architectural/Engineering firm and City staff to provide value engineering and constructability review services. The construction management at risk firm shall provide input to the designer regarding potential cost savings measures that could be implemented prior to the delivery of the 100% design. The construction management at risk shall insure the City receives a buildable design providing longevity through quality material selections as well as low maintenance requirements, minimum changes during construction and the construction is completed on time and below the GMP.The CITY COMPLEX project will affect the Equipment Maintenance; Sanitation; Parks; Streets; Water and Wastewater departments. Work to include earthwork, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, site furnishings, potable water, irrigation water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and other utilities as may be required.Project services anticipated to include but not limited to:Demolition of existing Administration buildingConstruction of a new 14,400 SF Administration building at a new location on the existing siteExpand existing Parks building to approximately 2,100 SFExpand existing Streets & Storm water building to approximately 4,000SFExpand existing Sanitation building to approximately 3,000 SFConstruct a new Fleet Maintenance building approximately 14,000 SFConstruct a new Utilities office and Storage building approximately 13,700 SFConstruct a new Utilities Heavy Equipment/Vehicle Storage building approximately 13,500 SFReconfigure parking and retentionExisting Fuel Farm and Wash Bay will remain with no updatesExisting Fuel Farm, Fleet Maintenance and Administration building/areas to remain in service during construction activitiesDesign team to coordinate design and construct
