Proposers must register at https://southportland.gov/Bids.aspx.  *REGISTRATION CAN BE COMPLETED VIA THE "VIEW DOCUMENTS" BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE* CONSTRUCTION HEAVY DUTY 2027 1 TON REGULAR CAB, SINGLE REAR  4 WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP TRUCK with fiberglass, service body, and liftgate RFB 06-27 Sealed bid for furnishing a new CONSTRUCTION HEAVY DUTY 2027 1 TON REGULAR CAB, SINGLE REAR 4 WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP TRUCK, with fiberglass, service body, and liftgate to the City of South Portland Water Resource Protection Department as specified below, in the attached specifications and proposal, will be received by Patrick Fitzgerald, the City Purchasing Agent, at 25 Cottage Road, South Portland, Maine 04106, until 2:30 p.m., August 25th, 2026, at which time, they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late, telephone, facsimile and or unsigned responses to the RFB shall not be accepted. All responses shall be held open to acceptance for sixty days from their opening. Late and/or faxed proposals shall not be accepted. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified Bids shall be submitted on the attached bid form in sealed envelopes, plainly marked “Bid #06-27 “and shall be addressed to the Purchasing Agent at the above address. Proposers must be registered to submit a proposal or their proposals may not be accepted. Proposers must register at https://southportland.gov/Bids.aspx. All questions should be directed, in writing, to Patrick Fitzgerald, and must be received by 12:00 noon on August 18th, 2026. Questions received after this time will not be addressed. Written addenda may be issued when changes, clarifications, or amendments to this document are deemed necessary. Oral explanations or interpretations given before the award of the contract are not binding. Delivery to be made upon receipt of purchase order and shall be F.O.B., Water Resource Department, 1142 Highland Avenue, South Portland, Maine. All equipment offered on this bid shall be brand-new and the latest type available. Bidder will state in his bid the name and model number of the equipment he is offering and will include with his bid a catalog or brochure marked to indicate the standard factory equipment of the model on which he is bidding.
