The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified companies to provide construction personnel and equipment forinstallation, replacement, and/or maintenance of Lakeland Electric’s lighting and associated systems. Lakeland Electric (LE) is the thirdlargest municipal utility in Florida. Its service territory covers approximately 246 square miles of Polk County and 138,923 customers.LE has approximately 2070 miles of distribution lines.
