The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a qualified consultant to provide comprehensive services—including planning, legal editing, and related expertise—to assist the City in reviewing, restructuring, and rewriting Hollywood’s Zoning and Land Development Regulations (ZLDRs) (weblink: City of Hollywood FL Zoning Code Ordinance | Gridics), as well as portions of the Code of Ordinances (weblink: CITY OF HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA CODE OF ORDINANCES ) related to the development and use of private and public land.A key objective is to ensure that the updated regulations align with the development goals of the Hollywood 2050 Comprehensive Plan, as well as the design principles outlined in the City’s Urban Design Guidelines. The current structure of the ZLDRs and Code of Ordinances is outdated, non-conforming with Florida Statutes in many areas, and inconsistent with City and County policies and Interlocal Agreements.
