Community Preschool Leasing Program

Description

Mesa Public Schools is accepting proposals for a Community Preschool Lease program, located at various locations, to be determined at a later date. The program, which will be run by an independent administration, should provide a safe, supportive environment to meet the varying needs of the participating children. Each day there should be time for indoor and outdoor play, a nutritious meal, and a variety of arts and crafts in a relaxed, well-supervised situation. Activities will be planned to allow the children to move at their own pace and with their own style. The program hours and days of operations are to be determined upon final lease negotiations. Lessee must provide services in the rental space to local and non-local residents for children ages birth to age 5, a dedicated number of available spaces for children of staff, with multi-age programs being considered upon review. Facilities will be available for year-round operation, and to accommodate before and after pre-school programs if part of your program. Mesa Public Schools will select the most advantageous proposal from a responsive and responsible Proposer that best meets its objectives of providing a high-quality preschool structured program. The initial lease will be for a five-year term, to be negotiated prior to lease signing, with access to the classroom space year-round.
