Communications Tower Design and Build - 2021-8031.3

Description

General work description: Yuba County seeking professional services from qualified firms,contractors, and individuals for the provision of a new communications tower to support thecommunications hut at the new Public Works Corporation Yard at 4667 Skyway Drive, adjacent to theYuba County Airport. Contractors are also invited to bid on the communications hut project. Certifiedbusiness enterprises such as (and not limited to) MBE, WBE, and DVBE are encouraged to apply. TheCounty manages its projects with a combination of its County Staff and contractors. The successfulawardee of the communications tower project will be required to work in cooperation with all partiesengaged on the Corporation Yard project, including the communications hut contractor firm, the FederalAviation Administration, the Federal Communications Commission, and the U.S. Department ofTreasury. Please note that this project is defined as a Public Works project in accordance with the Stateof California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), and as such is subject to state regulationsincluding but not limited to prevailing wage. This project will be registered with, and subject toregulation by DIR and the U.S. Department of Treasury under the regulations of the American RescuePlan Act (ARPA).
