The County of Sacramento (“County”) is soliciting proposals for collection, recycling and reporting of covered electronic waste (CEW), uncovered waste electronic devices (UWED), recyclable electric equipment materials (REEM), and universal waste (UWASTE ). The County receives these materials from the public as well as from our Neighborhood Cleanup Program at the North Area Recovery Station (NARS) and at the Kiefer Landfill (KLF). Some of the key items of the RFP include the following:• Material Tonnages: Contract with one (PROPOSER) to process CEW, UWED, REEM, and UWASTE. In 2025, the County collected the total pounds of materials per each site as outlined in the table below. • County Facilities: The COUNTY'S KLF and (NARS) will be the primary locations the PROPOSER will be required to pick up CEW, UWED, REEM, and UWASTE during term of the agreement. Airports and DGS Surplus have also been included as pick-up sites.• Transportation Facilities: County reserves the right to provide transportation of CEW, UWED, REEM and UWASTE within the County for materials collected at NARS and KLF.
