CMMS Application, Configuration, & Implementation Project

Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify and retain a firm needed to provide a CMMS application, as well as to configure and implement the system. At a population of 55,000, the City of West Sacramento (herein referred to as the City) continues to experience growth while utilizing technologically obsolete systems to record and process maintenance activities in the management and administration of its Public Works Maintenance and Operations Department. The City wishes to technologically centralize and optimize maintenance and operations activities to record, produce reports, develop historical analysis, and to provide forecasting for future decision making. Some of the City’s high-level goals for the solution include user-friendly, workflow-driven, and mobile-enabled application suite for information-based decision support. The priority for the City is to implement a maintenance management system to cover the basics of asset management for Public Works Maintenance and Operations Department with the option for future of growth and maturity of system use across City Departments.The City of West Sacramento is seeking proposals from a single proposer or form a primary proposer that uses the product and/or services from several vendors. A software product whether defined as an EAM or CMMS, hereto referenced as “CMMS” or "Computerized Maintenance Management System", is acceptable if it meets the minimum requirements set forth in this RFP.
